TimeWatch provides telecommunication network operators the visibility and control they need to cost-effectively lower operational costs while efficiently delivering services across a monitored sync network. TimeWatch performs continuous network synchronization monitoring and quality assurance of any link, performance analysis and alarm detection and forwarding.

Advanced Probe and Server Architecture
TimeWatch probes measure the synchronization performance parameters of a signal in terms of phase and MTIE against a reference which is then transmitted to the TimeWatch Server. The server, which runs on a standard PC and is accessed via a web browser, receives the heartbeat and alarm data from all the probes to perform network sync quality monitoring function including performance analysis and alarm forwarding on probes which exceed their programmed masks.
Graphical User Interface
A configurable map based graphical interface makes it simple to navigate around the deployed probes.
Set up Secure Customizable Levels of Access
TimeWatch enables telecom network administrators to establish security with different passwords for role-based access:
- User: Monitors alarms and network performance. Users can acknowledge and clear alarms.
- Manager: Manages and configure the probes, sets the interface types, as well as the masks used for alarm generation and the comparison masks for display purposes.
- Architect: Configures the network monitoring, adds and/or deletes new probes. Names and locates probes and sets up the map structure.
