The QUANTUM™ family of atomic oscillators offers best-in-class stability, size, weight and power consumption, making them suitable for a variety of applications ranging from telecom networks to aerospace & defense. The QUANTUM family comprises two product lines: the SA.45s Chip Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC), and the SA.3xm series of miniature atomic clocks.
Chip Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC)
The world’s first chip scale atomic clock, the SA.45s CSAC measures less than 16cm3 cc in volume, is only 0.45 inches high, weighs just 35 grams and consumes a mere 120mW of power. Such breakthrough performance opens up an entirely new classes of portable applications such as marine geophysical sensors, backpack IED jammers, backpack military radios, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and military GPS receivers.

Miniature Atomic Clock (MAC)
The world’s first miniature atomic clocks, the SA.31m, SA.33m and SA.35m rubidium oscillators leverage significant advances in physics package miniaturization and integration with a form factor that measures only 2” by 2” and stands less than an inch high — five times smaller than previous atomic oscillators. The units can be used in a range of applications, such as wireless base stations, telecom networks, and test and measurement devices.
