Q-Advisor management system collects information from all headend, network and other V-Factor-enabled devices and correlates results into simple quality scores. Using patented technology that understands both digital video services and user expectations, Q-Advisor can determine how network problems impact actual content and help prioritize troubleshooting and repair actions by focusing on the most important issues that affect users.

Automated Alerts
Integrated KPI violation monitoring allows operators to set thresholds and receive automated alerts when thresholds are violated. 

Drill-Down Investigation
Symmetricom’s Top-10 video issue report, combined with a unique per category breakdown view, allows technicians to immediately isolate visual, transport, encoding and service issues and prioritize their troubleshooting actions. Time-based reporting of such issues enables operators to share individual incident reports with their support staff as well as their providers, enhancing the traceability and communication of issues detected along the distribution chain.
