Time Code Displays
Synchronize to Time Code Signals and Display the Time or Date
Symmetricom’s Time Code (TCD) Displays are maintenance free clocks that keep accurate time by synchronizing to an external source via time code signals (IRIG B, IEEE 1344, and SMPTE). These digital displays present time-of-day (TOD) in 12 or 24 hour formats with large two and four inch seven segment LEDs. All international time zones are supported as well as daylight saving time transitions (United States and Canada) so the clock should never need manual adjustment.
Easy Configuration
The clocks are easily configured via one-time configuration switches on the back panel of the display.
Automatic Time Code Detection & Synchronization
Synchronization to external time code signals is made easy by the automatic time code detection algorithms built into the clock. Simply connect a valid IRIG B, IEEE 1344, or SMPTE time code to the input port and the TCD display will synchronize to it and display accurate time in seconds.
Versatile Applications
The digital displays lend themselves well to equipment racks, control rooms, manufacturing facilities and large open spaces where the precise and accurate digital time needs to be very visible. Multiple displays also work well as time zone clocks in control rooms.
