GPSDO’s provide time and frequency reference signals that have the same long-term accuracy as the GPS signal itself, and also provide a “holdover” capability to maintain network synchronization when GPS outages occur. Symmetricom offers a full line of these board-level products, as well as companion high-frequency source modules.
