Symmetricom’s leading timing solutions are part of high-performance communications networks and systems that are the core elements of today’s state-of-the-art communications networks.

The transition to all-IP networks and migration to 4G / LTE networks demand strict timing and synchronization requirements. Successful integration and interoperability are key to ensuring that our customers’ end-to-end deployments will maintain service continuity around the clock.

To meet new synchronization and timing requirements that support the transition to packetized backhaul networks and 4G / LTE mobile platforms, Symmetricom has established the SyncWorld™ Ecosystem Program to enable interoperability and cooperation among the vendors who will deliver on service providers’ advanced networking requirements.

 

The SyncWorld Ecosystem Program requires interoperability and cooperation that provides members tangible benefits in three key areas:

  • Offering customers a comprehensive, integrated, and simplified implementation of timing and synchronization solutions
  • Extended sales and market reach with joint engagements
  • Co-marketing and promotional activities
 
Symmetricom is committed to partnering with trusted end-to-end technology providers which deploy and maintain networks on behalf of operators. We invite interested industry members to learn about the SyncWorld Ecosystem Program, its benefits and requirements, and to consider applying for membership.
 
Network Equipment Partners are technology vendors that have conducted extensive testing with Symmetricom products to ensure effective operation of the joint solution in specific scenarios. Network Equipment Partners cooperate in a variety of ways, including technical, marketing, and field support.
Microwave backhaul partners are industry-leading vendors that provide high capacity wireless transmission for communication networks to deliver voice, video and data services throughout the network. Microwave radios ensure precise timing and frequency is maintained throughout the network.
Silicon Partners are industry-leading vendors of semiconductors or other components that have agreed to integrate Symmetricom’s embedded software timing solutions with their hardware components into a single solution for network and other communication equipment.
Communications Test and Measurement partners are industry-leading vendors that provide the capability to accurately monitor and analyze network performance to ensure precise timing and synchronization across communications networks.
