• Develop and implement methods of testing, troubleshooting and debugging software intensive electronics and related products.
• Work with the design team to create Verification and Validation test procedures. Execute these procedures during the product development cycle. Document the results of all product qualification testing.
• Analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend corrective action, as necessary.
• Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and specify test equipment.
• Provide feedback in preparation of product User Guides.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of BSCS/BSEE degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry software/firmware testing experience.
• Knowledge of current industry standard software development practices.
• Thorough knowledge of current industry standard software testing practices.
• Experience developing automated tests with at least one software testing tool (WinRunner, LoadRunner, QuickTest Professional, etc.).
• Must be able to work productively with design engineers in the testing of new products.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• MSCS/MSEE degree.
• Previous experience using QuickTest Professional to test a graphical user interface.
• Previous experience testing measurement applications in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system and TCP/IP networking.
• Knowledge of web technologies.
